My family and I recently returned from an amazing two-week trip to Pakistan — my first visit in 20 years — and it was everything I could have hoped for and more. The entire journey was organised by Iqbal, the owner of Adventure Karakoram Pakistan, who did an outstanding job planning our itinerary, accommodations, meals, and sightseeing across Skardu, Hunza, Gilgit-Baltistan, Khunjerab Pass and Lahore. A big thank you also to Hasanin, Iqbal’s nephew, who accompanied our group throughout the tour and took wonderful care of us every step of the way. Both Iqbal and Hasanin went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, well-fed, and truly enjoying ourselves — even during the long drives up north! Their warmth, kindness, and professionalism made the whole experience so memorable. We stayed in some excellent hotels, especially Khoj Resort in Skardu and Ninetree Hotel in Lahore, and enjoyed countless delicious meals — highlights being Fortune One in Sost Hunza, Monal, and Bundu Khan in Lahore, plus some great spots like Daily Deli Co and even KFC for familiar comfort food. I can’t recommend Adventure Karakoram Pakistan highly enough. My trip to Skardu, Gilgit, and Hunza was tiring but truly adventurous. The views were breathtaking and absolutely amazing! Our driver was outstanding, skilled, patient, and reliable.
